The Farquhar family, originally from Scotland, came to California from Ohio in 1880. They moved to the Crafton section of Redlands and planted orange groves along Fifth Avenue. William Farquhar built the Victorian style house, shown in the picture below, and it is still home of the Farquhar family today. Owned by Willard Beaumont Farquhar Jr. (Monte) and wife Cynthia Farquhar. Monte is the great-great-grandson of the original owner, William. In 1975, the homestead was designated as a Redlands Heritage House. The farm continues to be family owned and operated, and has been passed down through five generations. We offer the community exceptional produce at competitive prices at our corner stand (open daily) and local Farmer’s Markets.
